VR 11514 The VR 11514 is a professional two-way fullrange speaker with an integrated passive crossover. Housed in a bass reflex enclosure designed for fixed installation, it is loaded with a 15" woofer and a 1.4" high-frequency driver coupled to a constant directivity horn. The installed VR 11514 is particularly well-suited for use as a mid-/high-range unit in long-throw applications. It excels at rendering live music in configurations with a subwoofer such as the compact HK Audio IL 115 Sub or IL 118 Sub. For larger and more complex sound reinforcement scenarios, we recommend that you operate this unit with the HK Audio FirNet Controller. A selection of three (asymmetric) horns is available with 60° x 40°, 90° x 55° and 60°-90° x 55° coverage patterns that distribute sound evenly throughout the room. All may be rotated 90°. The housing is made of MDF, coated with impact-resistant paint, and equipped with M10 bushings designed to accept HK Audio mounting hardware. An acoustic fabric covers its sturdy steel grille. This screen is, like the enclosures, available in all RAL colors. The outdoor version features speakers and housings modified to withstand adverse climatic conditions.
